Miyuki creates immersive, story-driven audio that syncs naturally with visual media and live experiences. She delivered end-to-end production—from composition and sound design through mixing and mastering—and built a distinctive sonic identity across video, documentary, and event use. I was especially impressed by how she sampled a 100-year-old “Kurume gasuri” weaving machine and recontextualized Japanese craftsmanship through the global language of Lo-fi House. It wasn’t simple fusion; it was a thoughtful re-narration of Japanese sensibility for an international audience—work that was featured in New York Textile Month 2024. With a Professional Engineer (Japan) background and a practice informed by acoustic engineering and cognitive science, she brings both artistic clarity and technical intention to neurodiverse-accessible, inclusive sound design.

“For our New York exhibition, she created a beautiful piece of music. What moved us most was that she wove the sound of our looms—a lullaby-like noise we’ve grown up with—into the track itself.” — CEO, Mr. Sakata of Sakata Orimono (Japan’s only Kurume Kasuri textile maker)
